JOB BACKGROUND:
Our programmes operate at multiple levels to advance children’s rights and tackle the root causes of discrimination, exclusion and vulnerability across key areas, including health, education, livelihoods, disaster risk management and protection.
Plan International Asia Hub is recruiting for an intern to support the coordination and implementation of the regional Girls’ Movement project. The intern will report to the Regional Gender Equality and Inclusion Specialist 50 and the Regional MER Specialist 50.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the coordination and implementation of regional MER initiatives including capturing monitoring, evaluation and learning data
• Coordinate Working Groups for Regional Research and the Girls’ Movement
• Carry out desk research on Girls and Young Women in Asia, and additional briefings as needed
• Attend and document meetings as needed
• Support the development of atic reporting within assigned projects
• Provide logistics support for regional and national level workshops and research implementation

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
· Absolute fluency in written and spoken English is essential
· Bachelor’s degree in international relations, development, gender studies, or related fields
· Knowledge of gender and inclusion required
· Knowledge on research required
· Knowledge of the political and socio-economic dynamics of Asia required
· Exceptional organizational, written, and interpersonal skills

JOB BACKGROUND:
The HR & OD Specialist is responsible to provide the assistance to facilitate Human Resources Management and Human Resources Development efforts of Plan International Thailand to be in line with Thai Labour Laws and Plan’s policies and procedures. Also to ensure the contribution directly to the achievement of Plan International Thailand and Human Resources Strategy.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate in recruitment and selection activities
• Conduct orientation program to new staff. Building capacity of staff in term of competency as required by jobs regarding Plan’s policies or Global development
• Facilitate Annual Performance Management System PMS
• Analysis, Monitor and Implement the competitive package
• Accurate payroll and HR administration

Citizen of Thailand
• Five years’ experience in HR field

Project Manager – SEAS of Change Project

Position: Project Manager – SEAS of Change Project
Assignment duration: One year contract with possibility to extend.

JOB BACKGROUND: The Project Manager of the SEAS of Change project will coordinate the collaboration between Plan International Thailand and Plan International Cambodia, and lead the implementation of project activities in Thailand in partnership with two implementing partners, the Labour Rights Promotion Network Foundation LPN and the Foundation for Rural Youth FRY. This position is based in Bangkok with a substantial amount of time traveling to partners’ locations and activities venues in Bangkok, Rayong, Trat and Samut Sakhon. The project manager is also required to travel overseas to Cambodia.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain s for managing project operations
o Develop detail implementation plan DIP, annual and monthly project action plans and ensure the project is delivered according to the plan, donor requirements and P&IQP project cycle and annual cycle
o Develop Project Outline in SAP, update required information in Program Module regularly, and prepare project modification as needed
o Prepare detailed project budget and continuous monitoring of expenditures throughout the project period
o Strategically identify risks and risk mitigation actions to ensure successful project implementation
o Monitor the progress of the project, actual vs. planned objectives, activities and expenditures, through analysing relevant data atically collected over the lifetime of the project
• Oversee the preparation and submission of required reports to donor and ensure timely report submission, both the reports from Plan International Thailand and consolidated reports of Plan International Thailand and Plan International Cambodia.
• Ensuring effective collaboration in the joint implementation of cross-border activities by Plan International Thailand and Plan International Cambodia.
• Manage the relationship with key partners in SEAS Project, such as Labour Rights Promotion Network Foundation and the Foundation for Rural Youth.
• Maintain relationships with all project stakeholders, including public, private and civil society partners to effectively build partnerships with them.
• Provide oversight, coaching, technical support and leadership to SEAS project coordinator and ensure s/he apply appropriate project implementation strategies and approaches to achieve project outcomes indicated in the project documents.
• Coordinate with program support team and resource mobilization team to ensure effective collaboration in project operations and reporting.
• Respond to donor queries and coordinate their field visits
• Make formal presentations of the project on behalf of Plan International
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Program Director
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of five years of experience in project management, supervision, administration, and implementation of cooperative agreement and/or contract requirements including meeting deadlines, achieving outcomes, establishing and maintaining s for managing project operations, and overseeing the preparation and submission of required reports to donor agencies.
• Experience establishing and maintaining s for managing project operations.
• Experience in managing cross-country or regional projects is a plus.
• Ability to maintain relationships with all project stakeholders, including public, private, and civil society partners, and to effectively build partnerships with them.
• Experience implementing projects on corporate supply chains and social compliance programs.
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Social Work, Social Development, Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Sciences, Sociology, Anthropology, and other related fields.

Grants Analyst

Position: Grants Analyst
Assignment duration: Permanent Contract.

JOB BACKGROUND: Plan Thailand receives grants from various major donors. The Grants Analyst is the key position in contributing to the accurate financial reporting to donors with compliance they expect. He/she will also provide grant analysis supports to program teams on spending progress according to plan, so that deliverables can be achieved as proposed and therefore per Country Strategy. The Grants Analyst will also focus on full cost recovery mechanisms in Plan in order to allocate proper costs to grants.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Grants admin & finance 30
• Ensure that all information including budgets by periods are uploaded to SAP Grant module in the beginning and updated every time it is modified.
• Maintain the mapping of Project implementation activity lines to donor budget lines
• Support Program and Grant teams in the development of grant budget proposal
• Perform grant closure procedures in finance area
• Create Internal Orders in SAP to process non-partnership payments
• Liaise with external auditors in the audit of grants, and ensure audit requirements are satisfactorily completed/submitted to the auditors.
• Review Project budget in SAP Project implementation module
Financial Reporting & Analysis 50
• Prepare financial reports to donors timely and accurately with full donor compliance
• Prepare Budget VS Actual reports with analysis to Program Manager on a monthly basis
• Analyse records in non-grant numbers and make adjustments correction
• Analyse the spending rate and the correctness
• Train Program teams on ’How to read BvA report’
• Reconcile financial reports vs. SAP reports and propose adjustments
• Participate in workshops and trainings related to Finance and Grants and possibly non-finance meetings to broaden knowledge of Plan s and procedures.

• Provide financial analyses of Plan Thailand expenses and propose Overhead full cost recovery plan
