Manager Based in Chiang Rai
Plan is an international humanitarian,
child-centered development organization, implementing development programs that
promote the realization and fulfilment of children’s rights and the alleviation
of child poverty.
Position: Sponsorship Manager
Assignment Type: 1-year
Fixed-Term Contract with possibility to extend
Location: Based in Chiang Rai
Job background: The Sponsorship
Manager will monitor and support communications between 20,000 individual
donors and beneficiaries so that letters and reports are submitted on time and
are of a good quality. S/He will support and promote the achievement of country
goals in growth, donor satisfaction and the establishment of an effective
relationship between people of different cultures. She/He will need to plan
communication submissions, set schedules, ensure items submitted are of a high
quality and ensure regular data entry. Other aspects of the role include
training staff in donor requirements, visitor logistics, partnership
management, budgeting and representation. This position is based full-time in
Chiang Rai with 40 field travel.
Job purpose: Implementation
of Donor Services in cooperation with project staff and others • Building
capacity of staff and partners as required • Lead and manage a team of four
staff • Annual planning and budgeting • Monitor implementation and quality of
letters and reports • Accurate translations of letters and reports as well as
data entry • Facilitate donor visits • Reply to donor queries • Ensure
phase-out process implemented as planed • Represent Plan Thailand on issues
related to individual donors.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Citizen of Thailand • Three years’ experience as a
manager • Minimum five years of demonstrated professional experience in Donor
Services Sponsorship or similar position such as administration • Track
record of participation, training, facilitation and awareness raising • Academic
degree in relevant area • Strong team-building and facilitation
skills • Excellent communication skills • Proficient computer skills • Fluent
in written and spoken English • Experience working with NGOs is an advantage •
Experience working with children and communities is an advantage
